FAQs

Do you have questions that needs answering? Here you can find the most common questions and answers.

While both technologies utilize light-curable resins to achieve superior surface finishes, the primary deciding factor is build volume and part scale.

DLP (Digital Light Processing), powered by our Figure 4 platform, is optimized for high-velocity production of smaller, intricate components. With a build envelope of 150 x 70 x 350 mm, it is the precision tool for connectors, small housings, and highly detailed functional prototypes.

However, for projects requiring large-scale monolithic structures, SLA (Stereolithography) is the superior choice. Our industrial SLA systems offer a massive build volume of up to 750 x 650 x 550 mm. This allows us to produce large automotive panels, full-scale architectural models, or massive casting patterns as a single piece, eliminating the need for sectioning and bonding. If your design exceeds the 150 mm width of our DLP systems, SLA provides the industrial capacity to maintain structural integrity at scale without compromising on the smooth, injection-molded aesthetic both technologies are known for.
