Using <a href=\"https:\/\/prototal.info\/uk\/services\/industrial-3d-printing\/\">Industrial 3D Printing<\/a>, the collaboration enabled rapid prototyping, design validation, and performance testing \u2014 supporting Perma Padel\u2019s goal of reducing waste and CO\u2082 impact in paddel equipment. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Challenge: Non-Reusable Paddel Rackets<\/h2>\n\n<p>Unlike tennis rackets \u2014 where strings can be replaced \u2014 paddel rackets are traditionally sealed products. Once damaged, they cannot be repaired or reused, resulting in: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High material waste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limited product lifespan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A significant CO\u2082 footprint<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Perma Padel set out to redesign the paddel racket with reusability and sustainability at its core \u2014 without compromising performance or durability.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cWe aim to redesign the padel racket to make it reusable. Current rackets cannot be reused in any way and unfortunately have a very high CO\u2082 footprint.\u201d<\/em><br \/><strong>\u2013 Mikkel K. Jacobsen, CEO, Perma Padel<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results: From Concept to Market Readiness<\/h2>\n\n<p>With support from the <a href=\"https:\/\/prototal.info\/uk\/about-us\/locations\/denmark\/\">Prototal facility in Denmark<\/a>, Perma Padel successfully:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Produced a validated proof of concept using Industrial 3D Printing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gained insight into future production strategies and scalability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduced development time through rapid prototyping and expert guidance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Fast delivery and early manufacturing input have positioned Perma Padel to move confidently toward the next development phase.<\/p>\n\n<p>This collaboration shows how Industrial 3D Printing can support sustainable product development \u2014 especially in early-stage innovation where flexibility, speed, and design freedom are essential.<\/p>\n\n<p>By combining Perma Padel\u2019s sustainability-driven vision with Prototal\u2019s Industrial 3D Printing expertise, the project lays the foundation for a new generation of paddel equipment designed for reuse and reduced environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Perma Padel, a Danish startup, partnered with Prototal to develop a proof of concept for a more sustainable paddel racket.
