Ved at erstatte metaldele med <a href=\"https:\/\/prototal.info\/dk\/services\/industriel-3d-print\/\">industrielt 3D-printet<\/a> PA 2200 (Nylon 12) hjalp Prototal med at reducere v\u00e6gten, forkorte leveringstiderne og muligg\u00f8re l\u00f8bende designoptimering til missionskritiske rumfartsapplikationer. <\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/windracers.com\/\">Windracers <\/a>udvikler autonome, fastvingede fragtfly, der er designet til langdistanceoperationer i milj\u00f8er, hvor traditionel bemandet luftfart er upraktisk eller usikker. Deres fly, Windracers ULTRA, er designet til at b\u00e6re nyttelast p\u00e5 op til 150 kg, flyve distancer p\u00e5 op til 1.000 km og forblive i luften i op til 10 timer. Platformen bruges p\u00e5 tv\u00e6rs af applikationer, herunder humanit\u00e6r logistik, milj\u00f8overv\u00e5gning, civil luftfragt og forsvarsst\u00f8tte &#8211; ofte i fjerntliggende eller h\u00f8jrisikoomr\u00e5der.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Udfordringen<\/h2>\n\n<p>Under udviklingen af ULTRA stod Windracers over for den udfordring at reducere flyets v\u00e6gt og produktionsomkostninger uden at g\u00e5 p\u00e5 kompromis med styrke, holdbarhed eller ydeevne.<\/p>\n\n<p>Flere komponenter blev oprindeligt fremstillet af metal, hvilket resulterede i:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00d8get v\u00e6gt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>H\u00f8je omkostninger til v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u00e6ngere leveringstider<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduceret fleksibilitet til design-iteration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>For et ubemandet fly med lang r\u00e6kkevidde har selv sm\u00e5 v\u00e6gtreduktioner direkte indflydelse p\u00e5 udholdenhed, r\u00e6kkevidde og br\u00e6ndstofeffektivitet, hvilket g\u00f8r materiale- og produktionsvalg afg\u00f8rende.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tilgang til produktion<\/h2>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/prototal.info\/dk\/om-os\/lokationer\/storbritannien-uk\/\">Prototals afdeling i Storbritannien<\/a> samarbejdede med Windracers om at overf\u00f8re udvalgte komponenter fra metal til industriel 3D-printning i polymer.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Teknologi og materialevalg<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Industriel 3D-printteknologi Selektiv lasersintring (SLS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/prototal.info\/?page_id=2755\">PA 2200<\/a> (Nylon 12), valgt p\u00e5 grund af forholdet mellem styrke og v\u00e6gt, holdbarhed og gentagelsesn\u00f8jagtighed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>V\u00e6rkt\u00f8jsfri produktion, der muligg\u00f8r hurtig iteration og omkostningskontrol<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Denne tilgang eliminerede behovet for v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j og underst\u00f8ttede samtidig produktionsklar delkvalitet med korte leveringstider.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Producerede komponenter<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Efter den vellykkede udvikling af de f\u00f8rste komponenter blev samarbejdet udvidet til at omfatte flere flydele:<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Motorhjelme<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Der blev produceret letv\u00e6gts-polymerkapper for at beskytte motorerne, forbedre den aerodynamiske effektivitet og reducere flyets samlede masse. Den reducerede v\u00e6gt bidrog direkte til forbedret r\u00e6kkevidde og udholdenhed. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kapper til nedre st\u00f8tteben (styrbord side)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Snap-fit-kapper, der er designet til at blive fastgjort omkring landingsst\u00f8tterne, forbedrer luftgennemstr\u00f8mningen og forenkler montering og vedligeholdelse. Det trykte polymerdesign kombinerede holdbarhed med minimal v\u00e6gt. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Antenneholder<\/h4>\n\n<p>Et pr\u00e6cisionskonstrueret beslag, der er designet til at fastg\u00f8re flyets antenne under langdistanceflyvning. Komponenten er produceret til at modst\u00e5 vibrationer og milj\u00f8p\u00e5virkninger og underst\u00f8tter p\u00e5lidelig kommunikation og navigation. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Samarbejde og iteration<\/h2>\n\n<p>Ved at fjerne v\u00e6rkt\u00f8jsbegr\u00e6nsninger gjorde Prototal det muligt for Windracers at:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Iter\u00e9r design uden yderligere forh\u00e5ndsinvesteringer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indf\u00f8re l\u00f8bende forbedringer af b\u00e5de delgeometri og produktionseffektivitet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reducer leveringstiden for opdaterede komponenter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;At fjerne behovet for v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j bet\u00f8d, at designforbedringer kunne udvikles uden \u00f8konomiske begr\u00e6nsninger.
